According to thefader.com, Madlib has lost his Los Angeles home to the wildfires that are raging havoc on the county. News of the producer’s situation was shared on today with link to a Donorbox page explaining how Madlib and his family need help rebuilding after “losing their home, decades of music and equipment” to the fires.
The link reads:”We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support in helping legendary producer Madlib and his family rebuild after losing their home, decades of music and equipment in the devastating LA fires. Your donation, no matter the amount, will provide essentials, temporary housing and tools to help Madlib continue creating the music that has touched so many lives.”
To help spread the news, FLYLO went on social media to share his thoughts: “Sad saddd. But it’s a no brainer, we gotta help the legend MADLIB rebuild! Pls help if u can.”
Also, DJ Premier went on social media to say: “Another great Legend @madlib has completely lost his entire home and belongings to the California fires. A donation box has been set up. This is the only legit link. Thanks Stacy Epps for helping get this organized.”
