Elvis Costello Announces Winter And Summer 2025 Radio Soul: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello Tour Dates

Elvis Costello has revealed his highly anticipated Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello tour, set to take fans on a journey through his iconic early years, from My Aim is True to Blood and Chocolate. This new tour, which spans both winter and summer 2025, will feature Costello with The Imposters, including Attractions keyboardist Steve Nieve, drummer Pete Thomas, bassist Davey Faragher and guitarist Charlie Sexton.

According to Brooklyn Vegan, the setlists will be packed with beloved hits and deep cuts, showcasing the raw energy of Costello’s 1977-1986 catalog.

Costello reflects on the significance of revisiting his early work, saying, “For any songwriter, it has to be a compliment if people want to hear songs written up to fifty years ago.”

Fans can expect the unexpected as the band breathes new life into these classics, similar to the recently released Coward Brother’s album, performance of “Pump It Up” and cover of “Baby It’s You”.

As Costello emphasizes, the tour is no tribute band act but a celebration of his timeless music, played by those who originally recorded it.

The tour will kick off with a series of intimate duo shows with Steve Nieve in February 2025, before the full band tour begins in Seattle on June 12. The summer leg will include stops in major cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville and Miami Beach, wrapping up on July 12.
