Paul Weller At The Orpheum Theatre On Sept. 27 & 28

Paul Weller has announced his first North American tour in seven years! The tour will take place this September and will be in support of his upcoming album, 66. The tour also includes a stop at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theatre on Friday, September 27 with the newly added second date on Saturday, September 28.

Following Weller’s previously announced UK dates, the North American leg kicks off on September 6 in Red Bank, New Jersey. The 16-date tour will also stop in cities such as Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, and Vancouver before concluding with two shows on September 27 and 28 in downtown Los Angeles. The tour is in support of Weller’s 17th studio album, 66, set to release on May 24 — one day before Weller’s 66th birthday. The album was recorded in the span of three years and features contributions from Noel Gallagher, Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, Madness’ Suggs McPherson, Richard Hawley, The Blow Monkeys’ Dr. Robert, and more. The record’s first single “Soul Wandering” was released on February 23 and is followed by the newly released single “Rise Up Singing To The Sky,” released on April 5.

Weller is an English singer-songwriter known for his time with bands The Jam and The Style Council. Weller launched his solo career in 1992 with his self-titled debut album. Referred to as the Modfather, Weller is accredited to be the principle figure of the mod revival and heavily influenced Britpop. Weller returns with new music following 2021’s Fat Pop Volume 1 and will also make his grand return to North America with a tour.
