Shannon And The Clams At The Wiltern On Oct. 3

Shannon and the Clams have announced the North American 2024 tour in support of their upcoming album, The Moon Is In The Wrong Place. The tour includes a stop at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, October 3.

Indie-garage band Shannon and the Clams return with new music and new tour dates. The new North American tour comes in support of their forthcoming album of the same name, due to be released on May 10, 2024 via Easy Eye Sound. The tour kicks off with two festival appearances starting March 13 at SXSW in Austin, TX and April 5 at Ecliptic Festival in Hot Spring, AR and officially concludes with a hometown show on October 19 in Oakland, CA. Shannon and the Clams are set to visit 29 different cities across the United States and Canada during The Moon Is In The Wrong Place Tour.

Coming from Oakland, California, the indie rock band Shannon and the Clams is a tight-knit collaboration between band members vocalist Shannon Shaw, guitarist Cody Blanchard, drummer Nate Mahan, and keyboardist Will Sprott. Active from 2007, The Moon Is In the Wrong Place stands as Shannon & The Clams’ 7th collaborative studio album. The Moon Is In The Wrong Place comes from a sense of grief from the traumatic experience the band faced as Shaw’s fiancé died in a car accident just weeks away from their wedding. The album is a powerful exploration of loss, time, love, and resilience standing as the band’s most emotional record to date.
