Green Day is set to release their 14th studio album Saviors on January 19, 2024. To celebrate the upcoming album, the punk rock band have announced a series of listening parties throughout the United States. Fans will have the chance to listen to the upcoming album in its entirety before its official release at local indie record shops include Los Angeles’ very own Amoeba Music store in Hollywood on Monday, January 15.
The band released a list of over 200 record stores worldwide that will be hosting in-store listening parties starting on January 13. These listening events will be free to attend and include exclusive giveaways. Time and dates for each listening party are determined by each record store.
Amoeba Hollywood will be hosting the Saviors listening event on Monday, January 15 at 5 pm. No purchase is necessary to attend the Amoeba Hollywood Saviors listening party. The iconic record store will begin to play the upcoming album at 5 pm and take a short break at 5:30 pm for a raffle. Attendees can pre-order Saviors on vinyl, take a photo with a life-size album art backdrop, receive a commemorative poster (while supplies last), and receive a raffle ticket to be entered to win exclusive Saviors T-shirts, lyric books and more. No RSVP or purchase is necessary to attend, raffle winners must be present to claim prizes.
Saviors is Green Day’s first album following 2020’s Father of All Motherfuckers and their first collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo since 2012’s ¡Tré!. The band has been teasing the new album for nearly a year even performing a few singles at the When We Were Young festival and on Amazon Music Live. The rock band trio – Billie Joe Armstrong, Tré Cool and Mike Dirnt – remain devoted to their defiant craft carving their mark on the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
