The Last Rockstars have announced an exclusive US performance. The special performance is set to take place in Inglewood’s YouTube Theater on Wednesday, November 29.
The announcement followed the release of the Japanese rock band’s latest single “Psycho Love.” The US exclusive show follows The Last Rockstars’ Live Debut Tour earlier this year in which the supergroup performed in selected cities such as New York, Los Angeles and Koto City, Japan in the late winter. The group will soon return to the stage with three consecutive shows in Japan this November before returning to the states. The Last Rockstars will return to Los Angeles this fall for a special one-night only performance at the YouTube Theater on November 29.
The Last Rockstars is composed of four members: Miyavi, Yoshiki, Sugizo, and Hyde. The group announced their collaboration in November 2022 and released their first self-titled single the following month. In January 2023, The Last Rockstars performed their fist set of shows together in Japan and the US with several sold-out shows. All members are well-known Japanese rock artists and songwriters known from different bands such as X Japan, L’Arc-en-Ciel, Luna Sea, and most deriving from SKIN.
Yoshiki, frontman of The Last Rockstars recently became the first Japanese artist to be immortalized in cement at the world famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The ceremony was open to the public for fans to witness the historic and prestigious honor. Yoshiki joined an exclusive list of legendary celebrities including Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Robert Downey, Jr., Hugh Jackman, and Vin Diesel when he placed his hand and footprints in cement on Hollywood Boulevard. Yoshiki: Under the Sky, a documentary directed by and starring the acclaimed musician also made its Hollywood premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday, September 14.
