Kim Petras announced the Feed The Beast World Tour in celebration of the release of her debut studio album Feed The Beast. The new princess of pop returns to Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 1 at the YouTube Theater.
The Feed The Beast World Tour is set to kick off on August 4 in Mountain View, California and concludes on March 5 in Milan, Italy. The U.S. leg of the tour concludes on November 22 in San Diego, California and visits major cities such as Las Vegas, Miami, Chicago, Houston, and others. Ahead of her tour, Petras also celebrated with fans with two special meet and greet events in Brooklyn and in Hollywood. Fans who pre-purchased the Feed The Beast CD in-store at the two selected locations (Urban Outfitters Williamsburg and Amoeba Hollywood) entered the chance to meet and get a photo op with the German singer-songwriter.
Petras made history this year becoming the first openly transgender artist to win a major Grammy category as she and Sam Smith won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Unholy.” The LA-based singer-songwriter released music independently before signing with Amigo and Republic Records in 2021. Petras released a few mixtapes and EPs before joining Sam Smith on the chart topping international hit “Unholy” in 2022. Petras also made history becoming the first openly transgender solo artist to reach No. 1 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
On June 23, 2023 Petras released Feed The Beast, her first full-length studio album via Amigo and Republic. The pop and dance album took Petras three years to complete. The debut album explores themes of love, heartbreak, hedonism and sex positivity. The 15-track record includes songs such as “Alone” with Nicki Minaj, “Brr,” and “Unholy” with Sam Smith. Petras will celebrate her debut album with a full world tour starting August 4 in Mountain View, California.
