The Foo Fighters have released a new single from their upcoming album But Here We Are The song “Under You” which the band produced with Greg Kurstin is an upbeat track alluded to grief. Dave Grohl let’s raw emotion rip alongside the guitar’s rhythmic force as he expresses memories and never-ending pain.
“All this time it still feels just like yesterday / That I walked a million miles with you / Over it, think I’m gettin’ over it / But there’s no gettin’ over it”
The Foo Fighters describe But Here We Are as a “brutally honest and emotionally raw response” to all that they’ve endured over the last year. This is the band’s first album since the untimely passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins In March of 2022. In addition to new music, the band will also be doing their first shows since their tributes to Hawkins this past September. A recent article shared that Foo Fighters are also gearing up for number of performances including a performance at Austin City Limits But Here We Are is available on June 2.
