Alt-J have announced a tour for the 10th Anniversary of An Awesome Wave. The band is set to perform the album from cover to cover for the first time in the states. In March of 2023, Alt-J will be making a three-night appearance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California.
The English indie rock band will perform seven-tour dates in honor of their Mercury Prize-winning debut album, An Awesome Wave. The band has added an additional date to each city due to high demand. Alt-J will be celebrating their debut album in three major cities such as Brooklyn, New York, Los Angeles, California and Oakland, California. What was once a two-night event at The Wiltern in LA is now a three consecutive nights performance at the iconic venue set to host An Awesome Wave 10th Anniversary Shows.
Al-J has also celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut album with a worldwide digital concert event and exclusive new podcast series. Things Will Get Better – An Alt-J Podcast, showcases the critically acclaimed band discussing their early days, how they got together, how they found their sounds, how they made An Awesome Wave, and dives into so much more. The podcase series is presented by music journalist and radio host Jenny Eliscu, all five episodes can be streamed on all leading podcast providers.
The band’s award-winning debut was followed by their Grammy and Brit Award-nominated album, This Is All Yours. In 2017, the band released their third-studio album, Relaxer, which earner the band their second Mercury Prize nomination. This year, the band returned with their latest album, The Dream. Through their announcement of the 10th anniversary shows, the band confessed they enjoyed promoting their latest album and the 10th anniversary of An Awesome Wave, that they wished to continue the celebrations into 2023 with once-in-a-lifetime shows.
