Placebo At The Greek Theatre On May 11

Placebo are heading for their first North American tour in nine years. After having to reschedule their previous tour dates this year the band is finally touring in 2023 with a stop on May 11 at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

The English rock group has extended their tour list after left with no choice but to delay their fall 2022 tour dates. Nonetheless, the band announced a 19-date North American 2023 Tour set to begin in Mexico City on April 17 and conclude in Denver, Colorado on May 20. The band will be joined by supporting acts Cold Cave and Deap Vally on selected dates.

The North American 2023 Tour follows the release of the band’s eighth studio album, Never Let Me Go, their first release in nine years. The album includes singles “Beautiful James” and “Surrounded by Spies.”

The London-based band is composed of Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal. The duo joined forced in 1994 to form what would become one of U.K.’s most infamous genre-bending bands of all time. Aside from their intriguing sound, the group is considered unique due to their open discussions of sexuality, mental health, drug use and so much more.
