Today French musician Melody Prochet has announced the release of her newest song “Norfolk Hotel” off of her upcoming LP, Unfold which is the lost follow-up album to Prochet’s self-titled debut Melody’s Echo Chamber. Unfold includes seven rare and unreleased tracks that will be released alongside the 10-Anniversary edition of Melody’s Echo Chamber.
“Norfolk Hotel” is a lovely tune which has dynamic melody because the sound of the drum beats, guitar playing and keyboard playing not only has a classy feeling, it also brings a psychedelic rock vibe that will have people dancing along while listening. Another beautiful part about this composition is how elegant Prochet sings out the lyrics. Through the whole thing, Prochet‘s gorgeous vocal performance does show how powerful she can be while singing and her high pitched voice brings a kick of empowerment. “Norfolk Hotel” is a stunning tune filled with passion and creativity.
“I think this song soundtracks the metamorphosis experience, those spellbound waves and rhythm shifts, I remember I wanted the music to transcend into those psych jazz waltzy choruses, with rains of bass and spidery drum rolls. I guess the finale’s crumble kind of predicted the future ruin field. the music naturally recorded as a live duo, as I was just blossoming into my own intuitive guitar playing. The 10-anniversary edition of Melody’s Echo Chamber and Unfold be released on September 30th.
