The emo rock gods are finally back! My Chemical Romance’s grand return and long awaited North American Tour is finally here. The legendary pop-punk band have five shows this October at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
My Chemical Romance consists of vocalist Gerard Way, guitarist Ray Toro, bassist Mikey Way, and rhythm guitarist Frank Lero. The New Jersey pop-punk band became the most influential groups of the 2000s with their hit emo albums Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and the most recognized The Black Parade. Despite their immense fame and success, the band officially disbanded in 2013.
In 2019, My Chemical Romance returned with a reunion show in Los Angeles, California, which due to high demand turned into a short reunion world tour. The following year, the band announced a North American and European Tour however, it was rescheduled for 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On May of 2022, My Chemical Romance surprised the world with new music releasing “The Foundations of Decay,” the first single since 2014. During their North American Tour, the band will perform five shows at The Kia Forum in October 11th, 12th, 14th, 15thand 17th. My Chemical Romance will be accompanied by special guests, varying each date, such as Dilly Dally, Waterparks, Meg Myers, Nothing, Youth Code and more at the Kia Forum. These shows will be followed by a special performance at When We Were Young 2022, an emo and punk rock festival in Las Vegas.
