Greg Puciato is set to release his second solo record, Mirrorcell, on July 1. Puciato is also set to deliver his first solo live performance on Nov. 11 at Los Angeles’ Don Quixote.
The frontman and vocalist of the metalcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan surprised fans on June 24 with an early full album stream of the forthcoming album, Mirrorcell, via Bandcamp. The early streaming was made available after Puciato was informed that his record was leaked. Two new limited vinyl variants have been made available for pre-order via Revolver and the Federal Prisoner Bandcamp. The nine-song collection will officially be released on all streaming platforms on Friday, July 1.
Greg Puciato is best known as the former lead vocalist of the metalcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan, he is also founder and vocalist for The Balck Queen and Killer Be Killed. In 2018, Puciato and visual artists Jesse Draxler founded the record label Federal Prisoner. Puciato became widely known for his controversial and profoundly intense live performances which often involved, fires, destroying equipment and in some cases causing riots that resulted in being banned by venues.
In 2020, Puciato debuted his solo career with the release of his album Child Soldier: Creator of God. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Puciato was unable to tour in support of his first solo album. His most recent collaboration with Carpenter Brut has demonstrated Puciato’s diversity and immense musical talent. Puciato is currently on tour for Jerry Cantrell’s Brigthen European Tour. Following the tour, Puciato will debut a solo performance with a special guest, soon to be announced, at LA’s Don Quixote.
