The legendary art-punk trio the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced NY and LA special tour dates this Fall. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl on October 6th with special guests Japanese Breakfast and The Linda Lindas.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have also signed to Secretly Canadian with new music on the way set to be released this Fall. The trio announced via a teaser video that they will be touring across the world this summer with special appearances at the Primavera Sound 2022 in Barcelona and the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival 2022 in Montreal. The band is set to tour only for 9 dates this year thus far, two of which include special performances in New York and Los Angeles, the only dates in the U.S.

The American indie rock band was formed in New York City in 2000. The group is known for their garage punk sound. The trio is composed of vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase. The trio first gained recognition as they became supporting acts of The Strokes and The White Stripes. Years later, the trio released their debut album Fever to Tell, which included their hit song “Maps.”

Despite earning Grammy Award nominations for Best Alternative Music Album for three of their album, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs went on a hiatus in 2014. Three years later, the band returned headlining the Austin Sound on Sound Festival and released a deluxe remastering of their debut album. The band celebrated their return with a several shows across the U.S. There has been no commotion regarding new music from the band, that is until now. The band is set to release new music this Fall with special performances in New York and Los Angeles.
