Circle Jerks have reunited and are back to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut album Group Sex. The band is celebrating with a tour across North America, the first full tour in over 15 years. Circle Jerk will be accompanied by 7 Seconds and Negative Approach throughout their tour.
The legendary hardcore punk band, Circle Jerks heavily impacted the hardcore genre with their debut album Group Sex. The band is most recognized for their wild shows and popular anthems “Wild in the Streets,” “Live Fast Die Young,” and “When the Shit Hits the Fan.”
The group has broken up and re-formed multiple times over the years, but complexly disbanded after their 5th studio album VI. Several years later, Circle Jerks reunited and released their sixth studio album, Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities. The group has performed live occasionally over the years, but in 2020 they reunited to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut album however their celebratory tour had to be postponed to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Due to high demand, Circle Jerks has added several shows to their tour including a performance at The Glass House in Pomona with the special guest appearance of The Bouncing Souls. The North American 2022 Tour ends on Friday, May 13th at the Hollywood Palladium followed by several appearances in summer music festivals across Europe.
