The renowned rapper Pusha T has released a new track titled “Neck & Wrist,” along with an accompanying lyric video. The new song features the legendary rapper Jay Z and producer/rapper/singer Pharrell Williams.
“Neck & Wrist” starts off by offering a catchy chorus from Pusha T leading into the first verse by Pusha. Displayed throughout the track is an beautifully eerie beat produced by Pharrell Williams that sets the tone for the track. Following the first verse by Pusha and second chorus, we hear a catchy chorus from Williams that acts as a bridge into Jay Z’s verse. In his verse, Jay Z goes after critics that suggest that challenge his role in hip hop.
The single comes ahead of Pusha T’s currently untitled forthcoming album, announced last December. In regards to the new track and album, Pusha T explains in a statement that “My brand is all about creating masterpieces,” going on to say that “This is a legacy thing with me. This is all about being great. This is the realest real estate in hip-hop, and I’m the Martin Scorsese of it.”
