Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem are set to take the stage at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI halftime show, taking place at the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, CA on February 13, 2022.
“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a press release. “I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”
Lamar recently announced that his next highly anticipated album will be his last on Top Dawg Entertainment. Dr. Dre hinted that his performance “will introduce the next saga of [his] career.”
Eminem last released his surprise album, Music To Be Murdered By – Side B late last year, including his song “Zeus,” where the rapper apologized to Rihanna after he “sided” with Chris Brown.
Snoop Dogg recently revealed his curated lineup for the Once Upon a Time in LA Music Festival in Long Beach, CA. Al Green, Ice Cube, 50 Cent, The Game Three-Six Mafia and Snoop himself are some of the names included on the stacked lineup. It is set to take place on December 18 at the Banc of California and Exposition Park.
