Purity Ring and Dawn Richard Announce Fall 2021 Tour Dates

Purity Ring has announced their Fall 2021 tour, which will feature support from Dawn Richard. Although it has not been classified as a co-headlining tour, both acts are naming the tour something different. For Purity Ring, it will be the Tour de Womb and for Richard it will be the Electro Revival Tour.

The fall tour will kick off in Louisville, Kentucky mid-September and will last through December 11 where they will make their final stop in Los Angeles, California. The tour will be making special stop at Treefort Festival and will be stopping for two nights in cities such as Seattle, Brooklyn and San Diego. Throughout the tour, Purity Ring and Richard will play all but two shows together.

Richard’s Electro Revival Tour will be the first since the release of her new album Second Line, which was released in April of this year. Alongside the announcement of her sophomore album, Richard shared her single “Bussifame,” with “Jacuzzi,” two-part centerpiece “Mornin | Streetlights” and then “Boomerang” to follow.

Purity Ring had originally scheduled their side of the tour to take place in 2020 but due to the coronavirus outbreak, they were forced the postpone the tour twice. The band had originally hoped that Tour de Womb could take place in the spring but they eventually chose to postpone until the fall of this year. Tour de Womb will be in support of the band’s forthcoming album WOMB, which was released in early April of 2020.
