Aesop Rock and Jeremy Fish have teamed up to create their latest collaboration, “Long Legged Larry.” In a recent press release, the character of Larry is described as an “altruistic and well-abled frog, who hops from place to place looking to help ease folks’ troubles.” In the new song, Aesop Rock speaks about Larry’s life.
The vision of Larry comes from Jeremy Fish, who created the song’s artwork and created the animation for the song’s video. The idea of Larry lives an optimistic life where he is able to do just about anything. In the video, Larry “jumps so high” he was able to save a cat from a tree.
The video for the track tells an animated story of Larry. The animation follows the lyrics of the song and keeps viewers’ attention with the use of unique animations.

The song has a jazzy, funky beat as it tells the story of “Long Legged Larry.” The song is a fun, smooth, upbeat tune that anyone could enjoy. The track has a great feel-good vibe and is uplifting.
The song is out now digitally and available on a 7″ vinyl, which has 3000 copies. The vinyl features the song and the instrumental, a plush toy and a number of different ‘Larry-approved’ merch including shorts, sweatbands, hoodies and more.
Earlier this year, Aesop Rock along with Homeboy Sandman, who form the duo Lice, teamed up together to create a tribute song titled “Ask Anyone.” The song was a tribute to the late MF Doom as they sampled his 2006 song, “Datura Stramonium.”
Aesop Rock also released an album last year titled Spirit World Field Guide. The album was a 21-track project where he takes listeners on a tour of the world as he sees it.
