Long Beach reggae/rock legends Sublime revived themselves in 2009 with a new lead singer, Rome Ramirez, and have since gone by the name Sublime With Rome. Their sound still derives from reggae, rock and ska while incorporating funk and hip-hop influences as well. The band is set to play at the Rubidoux Drive-In in Riverside on October 17, 2020. Tickets are being sold per car, ranging from $99 to $325 depending on how close you’d like to be to the stage. Load up the car and head to the drive-in!

Sublime experienced major mainstream success under their original lead singer Bradley Nowell, but stopped performing when Nowell tragically passed away in 1996. Members of the original Sublime lineup began performing with Rome Ramirez, making new music and also playing original Sublime songs. They were set to perform at the Smoke Out Festival as Sublime when they were hit with a lawsuit from Nowell’s family just before the festival date. Since then, they have gone by Sublime With Rome, and currently have three albums under their belt. The current lineup consists of Rome Ramirez on lead vocals and guitar, Eric Wilson on bass and Carlos Verdugo on drums.
