THE DRIVER ERA is a recently formed, very exciting alternative music duo composed of brothers Rocky and Ross Lynch. They are both former members of the very successful pop group R5. Their experience in the music industry and musical ability/talent are paying dividends. THE DRIVER ERA were formed in 2018 and have only released one studio album along with three EP’s. Despite the short time the group has been active and their limited discography, they have managed to amass millions of plays on Spotify and garner a lot of attention from fans and are making waves in the alternative music genre.
Their sound is very unique but their time in R5 definitely shows up in their music. The vocals are very reminiscent of punk/pop and their beats only add to the catchy vocals. If you haven’t heard of them yet, they are sure to be a significant presence going forward so I suggest you check out this young, up-and-coming duo. Give their album, X, a listen and you won’t be disappointed — my favorite songs of theirs are Low, Preacher Man, and Feel You Now off that album.
