PJ Harvey has reissued Rid Of Me and 4 Track Demos. This is a continuation of her reissue campaign that will be released August 21.
The record will also be available on Vinyl for the first time since the original release. This new reissue is going to include demo recordings that she recorded at home herself, and also some songs that actually made it onto the original Rid Of Me.
Harvey is rereleasing all of her currents works to be made available in vinyl form. Like Rid Of Me all of her reissues will include demos that have never been released.
Rid Of Me will be coming after the release of another reissue Dry that is due out at the end of July. The Dry reissue will also include demos that have never been released before.
Last summer PJ Harvey also released a music video for “The Crowded Cell.” The song was featured in the soundtrack for Television show “The Virtues Out.” The music video is just a young boy running through a field to go with “The Crowded Cell.”
PJ Harvey is a singer, but also multi-instrumentalist. She can play the guitar and the saxophone just to name a few. The artist started her career back in 1988 with a band called Automatic Dlamini, in Britain where the artist is from. Harvey continues to provide for her fans after all these years, especially with the never before heard demos she is releasing with her reissues.
Harvey‘s two albums with John Parrish will also be re-released within the next year including Dance Hall at Louse Point from 1996 and A Woman A Man Walked By from 2009.
