Agnostic Front and Sick Of It All are Playing Underground Arts on August 30

Two legends from the New York hardcore scene will be hitting the road together later this year hopefully. Their tour was originally scheduled for April and May but it was pushed back to about 3 months due to the pandemic. August 30 is a long ways away so I’m hoping they get the go-ahead. Agnostic front has been around since 1980 and there have been a myriad of members that have come in and out — 20 to be exact. However, their current lineup is as follows: Vinnie Stigma (rhythm guitar), Roger Miret (vocals), Mike Gallo (bass), Pokey Mo (drums) and Craig Silverman (lead guitar). They have released 12 full length studio albums, with their most recent release coming in 2019 with Get Loud! I would check out Spray Painted Walls from this project as well as Gotta Go from their 1998 album Something’s Gotta Give.

Alongside this prominent group will be another collective that was monumental in forming and continuing the hardcore punk music scene in New York. They were formed in Queens, NY back in 1986 and released their debut album, Blood, Sweat and No Tears, three years later in 1989. They did not immediately gain traction, and wouldn’t achieve widespread commercial success until their later albums. The lineup consists of: brothers Lou (vocals) and Pete Koller (guitars, backing vocals), Armand Majidi (drums) and Craig Setari (bass). Get your tickets now and come rock out with these hardcore New York legends. The show is at 8:00
