Chain Fest Provides an Opportunity to Blow of Some Steam at the Five Points Amphitheatre on 10/16

With coronavirus taking up all of our collective time, chances are we might need to blow off some steam when we get out of this hell. I personally can’t think of anything better to do once all of this ends than go to a baseball game, get a new tattoo and… oh yeah, dive right into a mosh pit.

Chain Fest is looking more and more like the perfect solution to our collective societal woes, at least for those of us in Southern California. While most metal shows may not have hit the particular sweet spot we need after a period of lengthy confinement, Chain Fest perfectly blends the poppy emo / pop punk the millennial generation grew up with more intense punk / hard rock acts like Glassjaw and and Cartel.

Really what we all need to do is come together, and what could bring people closer together than belting “The Middle” with about 10,000 other people while Jimmy Eat World crushes it on stage. And the added bonus of legendary acts like Anberlin, Saves the Day, Acceptance, Taking Back Sunday and Circa Survive only makes the prospect of this show more thrilling. I promise you this is one you don’t want to miss out on.

Location: Five Point Amphitheatre
