Braids Live Performance 6/23 at Barracuda to be Postponed

Braids are an art rock band based out of Montreal and are comprised of band members Raphaelle Standell-Preston, Taylor Smith and Austin Tufts who were high school friends that started collaborating in music together in 2007. They released their debut album Native Speaker in 2011 featuring the dreamy track “Lemonade” and were praised for their unique electro pop and shoegaze sound. Braids create music that makes you feel like you’re in a dream-like paradise and are lyrically immersive with expressions of deep emotion. The band has recently put out three singles leading up to the release of their fourth album Shadow Offering coming out on June 19th.

Braids were set to play a show at Austin’s Barracuda on June 23rd, but due to circumstances out of their control, the show is being postponed until further notice. You can keep track of their status on tour dates by visiting braidsmusic.com.
