Ratt have been a constant presence and influence on the heavy metal scene since their inception in 1976. They are, fittingly, out of Hollywood, CA. They experienced huge commercial success in the 1980’s and they have been recognized as an instrumental part in the formation of the Los Angeles glam metal scene along with groups such as the legendary Motley Crüe. They have continued to release music and tour extensively despite multiple haitises and lineup changes. Their lineup is as follows: Stephen Pearcy (lead vocals), Juan Croucier (bass/backing vocals), Jordan Ziff ( guitar) and Pete Holmes (drums).
They are perhaps most well-known for their hit singles such as Round and Round and Lay it Down, Wanted Man, and You’re in Love. I recommend you start with these songs to get a feel for the group if you haven’t heard of them. They have an extensive collection of incredible music. Ratt has amassed tens of millions of streams on Spotify and they have been certified gold, platinum and multi-platinum by the RIAA. This is sure to be a great night, so come rock out with these old-school rockers along with Skid Row, Tom Keifer and Slaughter in Atlantic City on August 29.
