The Killers Live w/ Johnny Marr at Frank Erwin Center 9/12

The Killers have fascinated us with their new wave synth-pop style mixed with indie rock since their catchy “Mr. Brightside” from their debut in 2004 and have released four more albums since then. They have evolved over the years spanning from their original synth style to post-punk and alternative indie. Vocalist Brandon Flowers founded the band in 2002 and began collaborating with soon-to-be guitarist David Keuning in Las Vegas. Eventually, the band was complete with Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci joining later and their debut of Hot Fuss was released two years later.

The Killers released their latest album titled Wonderful Wonderful in 2017 and show just how much they have evolved in their sound, shifting into a disco dancey vibe that we can’t help but move to such as in the 80’s style track “The Man”. The band’s sixth album Imploding the Mirage is set to be released on May 29th and they start their tour supporting the album the same month.

Catch them at the Erwin Center on Saturday, September 12th! Joining The Killers will be special guest and famed guitarist of The Smiths, Johnny Marr who also has a solo project in case you didn’t know. Doors to the arena open at 7:30pm and the show will start an hour later at 8:30 pm. Ticket sales are currently TBA but you can continue to check back by clicking on the links below!
