Metal legends Megadeth and Lamb of God have recently announced their co-headlining summer tour across the country that will begin in June and end in August. The tour will also feature special guests Trivium and In Flames. This is a momentous tour for Megadeth as it marks the return of Dave Mustaine after his diagnosis and recovery from throat cancer. This is their first tour since 2017. Megadeth is considered one of the “Big 4” American thrash metal bands along with Metallica, Anthrax, and Slayer. They have an extensive discography of 15 studio albums released over a period of nearly 37 years. This iconic group has sold approximately 38 million million units worldwide.

They will be joined by fellow heavy metal band, Lamb of God, sometimes referred to as LoG. This group comes out of Richmond, VA, and they have also had a great impact on the metal genre. They are credited with being a significant member of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement, which took place during the 1990’s and 2000’s. LoG was formed in 1994, and they have released a total of 9 studio albums, one live album, one compilation, and 3 DVD’s. They have received critical acclaim for many years, including Grammy nominations, a Gold-certified album, and over 2 million sales in the US. They are incredible performers as well, having won Best Live Band twice at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. Lamb of God is also known as Burn The Priest (1994-1999 and 2018). Their most recent release,  Legion: XX (2018) is their first album as Burn the Priest since 1999, and they will be releasing yet another, self-titled, album in 2020 — hopefully before this tour kicks off. Get your tickets now to see two of the best and most influential metal groups rock out on stage on June 18.
