Casting Crowns is a Christian rock band that was formed in 1999 by the youth pastor Mark Hall, who is the lead vocalist. They began in Daytona Beach, Florida but they later moved to Stockbridge, Georgia. They currently have 7 members and some of them currently work as ministers for Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. They have won a Grammy and a Dove Award in their time as a band.
Casting Crowns has just released their 9th studio album, ‘Only Jesus’ in November of 2018. Their previous album, ‘The Very Next Thing’ reached #9 on the Billboard 200. These Christian chart-toppers have announced that they will be extending their tour in early 2020 with a 22-city excursion that starts in March. These new shows will be accompanied by special guest Matthew West. This tour originally launched earlier in 2019 and was joined by special guests Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, and Jamie Kimmett.
