Coachella has officially announced its 2020 lineup featuring Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean as their headliners for the three day event. These artists will be joined by the likes of Caribou, FKA Twigs, Thom Yorke, Lana Del Rey, Run The Jewels, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Charli XCX, Big Sean, Fatboy Slim, Swae Lee, Code Orange, Brockhampton, Idles, Weyes Blood and Rex Orange County at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
The festival teased their announcement by retweeting old posts from fans and music artists, indicating that those artists will perform at the festival. Tickets for the first weekend are officially sold-out, however a pre-sale for the second weekend dates will be underway on Monday January 6th. Fans can register here for the second weekend pre-sale.
Rage Against The Machine hinted at a Coachella appearance last year, when they announced their first shows in over eight years. They announced two shows in Indio during dates that are usually scheduled for Coachella, indicating that their headlining appearance at the festival was likely.
Yorke will is listed alongside Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, indicating that he will likely play his sophomore album, which was released in 2014 at the festival. The performer released his most recent studio album Anima last year, and announced a series of 2020 spring tour dates.
Ocean revealed two new singles last year titled “DHL,” and “In My Room,” respectively. The performers most recent appearance in Southern California took place in Los Angeles, at the prominent FYF Festival. Check out our review of his performance at FYF here.
