Mötley Crüe’s Stadium Tour With Def Leppard, Poison, And Joan Jett Is Coming To Citizens Bank Park On August 15

With the announcement of the 2020 Stadium Tour, Mötley Crüe apparently faked us all out with their 158-show “final tour” in 2014/15. After signing a “cessation of touring agreement” we all thought we would never see these 4 legends on stage again. Think again — Mötley Crüe has just released that they will be embarking on this massive nation-wide tour alongside the renowned groups of Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett. They are able to do so because all 4 members agreed to dissolve the contract. For those unfamiliar with the group, Mötley Crüe is an iconic rock band formed in the 80’s by Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drummer), Mick Mars (lead guitar), and Vince Neil (vocals). They each brought their own unique style and persona to hard rock and heavy metal, and their over-the-top performances (including flame thrower guitars and roller coaster drum kits) helped to propel the group to stardom. This reunion, and the absolutely star-studded Stadium Tour, is an incredible opportunity to see all four legends back in action.

Mötley Crüe has received an incredible seven platinum (or multi-platinum) certifications and 100 million albums sold worldwide. The tour will be starting July 7 and wraps up rather quickly on September 5. This iconic lineup will be coming to Philly on August 15 and will be presumably selling out the Citizens Bank Park stadium where the Phillies play. Pre-sale is now live but tickets will be available on December 13 at 10am. Whether you are a tried-and-tested ‘Crüe Head’ or just want to appreciate greatness, this will likely be your last opportunity to see all 4 members of Mötley Crüe perform together. Not to mention, they will be touring with the legendary groups of Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. This night will definitely be a spectacle and I recommend you get your tickets this Friday, the 13th.
