Guns N Roses super fan Rick Dunsford may have to deal with a lifetime ban from his favorite band’s live performances. According to various press sources, Dunsford was escorted off the premises while waiting in line to attend their show in Wichita, Kansas, for allegedly leaking unreleased material that the band recorded in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

“About two and a half months ago, I drove to Virginia, and there was a storage locker that belonged to Tom Zutaut [former GN’R A&R Rep],” Dunsford recalled in recent interview. “He didn’t pay his bills or something and it was auctioned off. The individual that bought the locker, there was about 20 CDs in this locker of unreleased Guns N’ Roses music from around ’99 to 2000 or 2001.”

Dunsford and a few other fans scraped up $15,000 to purchase the music from the guy who now owned the locker, however the material was eventually leaked. The super fan denies having anything with the leak and states that member’s of the band’s camp even reached out to him for the material, however they eventually pulled out of any deal regarding the purchase of the CDs.

“I know the seller that I bought them from was continuing to sell to other individuals, and there was a massive leak. So pretty much, I’ve been blamed for this,” Dunsford explained.

This news comes an an extremely inopportune time for the fan, who has seen the band perform 32 times, and has the signatures of the members tattooed on his body, as they are in the midst of current tour. Dunsford’s son is even named Axl, after the band’s frontman Axl Rose, displaying some real big dedication to the band.

“[The ban] is pretty much for the rest of my life, is what the head of security in that video was telling me,” he concluded. “They made it clear that if I am spotted at all, I will be arrested on the spot…I was supposed to go see them this Sunday.”
