Blood Orange @ The Roxy 4/11

Following his praised performances at the recent fashion shows in Paris, Blood Orange is set to have one last show before he plays at Coachella. The show will take place at The Roxy theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 11th. Tickets to see Blood Orange at The Roxy go on sale Friday, March 1st at 1:00 PM PST. Admission to the show will be priced at $40. The show will begin at 9:00 PM, with doors opening at 8:00 PM. The event will be open to all ages.

Devonte Hynes is the mastermind behind the Blood Orange moniker. Once known under the name Lightspeed Champion, Hynes began to focus his efforts on the Blood Orange project around 2010. The English singer, songwriter, and record producer has had a great 2018 and has started 2019 in full force. His performances at Paris fashion shows and his intimate performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk series has perfectly encapsulated how talented he truly is. 2019 is only going to get better for Hynes as he is scheduled to perform at Coachella day three.

Luckily for his fans, Blood Orange will have a solo show right before Coachella Weekend begins. Those unable to get those pricey festival tickets will be able to catch Hynes in the city. Hit the link below to get those tickets before they sell out.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
