Z Berg & Friends @ Pico Union Project 12/15

Los Angeles native and rock musician, Z Berg, is having a special holiday show this December. The concert, presented by Sid the Cat, will take place at the Pico Union Project in DTLA on Saturday, December 15th. The show will feature special guests and collaborators as well as performances to some of Z Berg’s recently released singles. Tickets for the show are going to cost fans $15 with some additional fees. Sounds for the event are going to begin at 8:00 PM and will be available to all ages.

Elizabeth Anne “Z” Berg is a guitarist and vocalist that was the founder of the indie-rock group, The Like. Her individual sound reflects the Los Angeles lifestyle and has strong influences from musical icons like Nico, Nick Drake, Henry Mancini, Leonard Cohen, Francoise Hardy, Gillian Welch, Tom Waits, the Shangri-las, and Nancy Sinatra. This year she released four solo singles, where she actually directed the music video for two of the singles. The music videos to Time Flies and All Out of Tears further demonstrates Z Berg’s creativity and artistic direction.

Z Berg will undoubtably put on a great show for her dedicated fans on that Saturday. Her natural perception of music will be displayed for all to witness. With support from some special guests, this prom-themed holiday show will be a memorable night.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
