Heavy metal quartet is scheduled to perform their fifth annual January Metal Assault show at the House of Blues in Anaheim. This show is going to take place on Thursday the 24th of next year. Several special guests are said to be attending this event and the show will feature plenty of tracks from the bands recently released album, Volume II: Power Drunk Majesty. Tickets for the show are going to cost fans $25 with some additional fees. Start time for the show is going to be at 7:00 PM, with the event be available to all ages.
Metal Allegiance is a fairly new band that was founded in 2014. Since it’s foundation it’s be holding it’s traditional Metal Assault show every January. The Metal Allegiance roster consists of Mark Menghi (bass, songwriter), David Ellefson (bass), Alex Skolnick (guitar), and Mike Portnoy (drums). Amongst those four years, the band has released two studio albums and one EP. Their newest album entitled Volume II: Power Drunk Majesty was released on Sept. 7th 2018 and featured vocals from metal icons Trevor Strnad, John Bush, Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth, Mark Tornillo, Johan Hegg, Max Cavalera, and Floor Jansen.
This January show is very special and is deemed to have some legendary metal stars in attendance. The lineup consists of Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA), Mark Osegueda (DEATH ANGEL), John Bush (ARMORED SAINT), Chuck Billy (TESTAMENT), Bobby Blitz (OVERKILL) , Trevor Strnad (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER), Mark Tornillo (ACCEPT), Phil Demmel (MACHINE HEAD), Alissa White-Gluz (ARCH ENEMY), and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein (The Misfits).
