Blood Orange, also known as Dev Hynes and formally known as Lightspeed Champion, has had an eventful career since his R&B start in 2009. His first full length album Coastal Grooves, which was released in 2011, was well received and one of the tracks was even featured in the Skins MTV Premier. Then in 2012 the skillful artist began opening up for Florence and the Machine on their tour. Since then, Blood Orange released three more studio albums and has worked with various known artists including, Claims Casino, Philip Glass, Skepta, Solange, Kylie Minogue, and many more. The artist was even on the lineup for one of the most popular festivals in the world, Coachella.

The sky is the limit for Dev Hynes. It almost seems as if there’s nothing that this musician can’t do. He has accomplished a lot over the eight years of his career as Blood Orange. There is surely no signs of him slowing down anytime soon especially with the numerous performances that he’s scheduled for around the world. Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
