Will Oldham Announces New Album Songs of Love and Horror for October 2018 Release

Will Oldham, also known for his work as Bonnie “Prince” Billy, has announced a solo album titled Songs of Love and Horror. The album will be released on October 19, 2018 through Drag City. Beyond that information, details are sparse besides the fact that this record will consists of Oldham performing solo with just his voice and a guitar.

In addition to the new album (full of what appears to be older songs written for Palace and Bonnie “Prince” Billy), Oldham has announced a lyrical archive, which will be released in the form of a book. The book will share a title with the latest Oldham release: Songs of Love and Horror. It will be released this fall.
