Arcade Fire with The Zombies @ The Greek Theatre 9/20

Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire and legendary band The Zombies are set to perform at the Greek Theatre on Thurs. September 20th. Doors for the show will open at 6:30 PM, while the first performance will begin at 8:00 PM. Age restriction for the event is for those that are two years old or younger, so I apologize in advance for the two year olds reading this. Tickets for the show will range from $59.50 to $125.00 with the addition of fees.

Arcade Fire, which consists of band members William Butler, Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Jeremy Gara, Tim Kingsbury and Richard Reed Parry, has had great success over the past years. The accomplished band has had music featured in films like Her and has acquired several awards, including two BRITs and two Grammys. Alongside their consistent great albums, the band has also done several gestures of activism in which they continue to do. Throughout the years, the band has donated numerous amounts of money to benefit Haiti’s internal issues. All in all, the band is not only crazy talented but very warmhearted as well. The band’s music and its accolades speaks for itself. There’s nearly nothing you can dislike about this band.

Joining the favored band will be The Zombies. Yes, you heard correctly! The famous English rock band from the 60’s will be putting on a show that you don’t want to miss. Known primarily for their songs Tell Her No and Time of the Season, The Zombies’ music has been played everywhere for the past 40 years. Being able to see these two great bands in one show is definitely going to be a memorable night.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
