Stardust falls at the Fonda Theatre on May 9th with IAMX and Special Guest Kat Von D

Now on his eight album, IAMX, or Chris Corner has consistently created revolutionary work in the electronic rock genre – and he’s not finished yet. Alive in a New Light was released on February 2, 2018 including a feature from none other than Kat Von D. 15 of IAMX’s songs have also been featured on ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder, including “Mile Deep Hollow,” and “Alive in a New Light” off of the most recent IAMX album.

The song “Stardust” featuring Kat Von D, also features her in the music video shot in Los Angeles, CA. The video is directed by IAMX himself, claiming that he attempted to capture the essence of a performance art piece rather than a polished music video. The video showcases Kat Von D on a stage shaving a young girl’s hair off, along with strong strobe lights flashing. It captures an anarchistic nature that is in line with both Kat Von D and IAMX. Kat Von D and IAMX have previously collaborated on her makeup line together, and the video is said to feature IAMX’s line of erotic merchandise. There are two versions of the video – a censored version released via the Alternative Press, and an uncensored version was released via Playboy.com.

IAMX is playing at the Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, May 9th with guest Kat Von D. While Von D has dabbled with music before, this is the first time she has been this creatively involved with the production and release of a single.
