Muse announced today that they’ll hold a ‘by request’ concert at Paris’ La Cigale on February 24th. Tickets will only be available for members of Muse.MU, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. this Saturday, February 17th. Keep in mind, there is a two ticket limit per purchase.
‘By request’ means that Muse plans to be democratic about its setlist. Ticket holders can choose their top five choices; all submitted votes will be used to curate the setlist. Anyone not able to attend the concert can watch the show live from Muse’s Facebook, Twitter, Periscope and YouTube accounts.
Muse released their new single “Thought Contagion” yesterday. It’s available on all digital platforms along with a video.
Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme formed Muse in 1994. Their last album, Drones, came out in 2015 and debuted at No. 1 in twenty-one different countries, and was their first No. 1 album in the United States. Drones won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. They’ve released seven studio albums that have sold more than 20 million times. They’re known for their engaging live sets, this one will be no different.
