Pale Waves’ All The Things I Never Said EP is available for preorder. Fans can purchase the red transparent vinyl EP on March 16th along with an included download card. Pale Waves is an indie group from Manchester, England, that formed in 2014. Originally named ‘Creek’ when guitarist Heather Baron-Gracie met drummer Clara Doron at the University of Manchester, the name changed as soon as they started to make waves. Two other musicians, Hugo Silvani and Charlie Wood, play guitar and bass respectively.
Pale Waves gained a more significant following after signing with Dirty Hit Records, who enabled them to tour with The 1975 around Europe and North America. They won fifth place at the BBC’s annual Sound Of.. shortlist 2018 edition, and have released four singles so far.
Critics greeted their first single, “There’s a Honey,” with acclaim in April 2017. They’ve made three other singles, two of which have videos. Their relationship with The 1975 and has included extensive touring and music video collaboration.
Baron-Gracie told the BBC, ”The songs we have out now are very influenced by romance. The album is me talking about a lot of my darker issues. I talk about a lot of things that go on in my mind rather than in my heart.” Based on the acclaim of their four singles and touring experience, Pale Waves’ debut should be something special.
