Queens of the Stone Age Finally Release Video for “The Way You Used To Do” Outside of Apple Music Paywall

According to the PRP, Queens of the Stone Age have finally shared their music video for “The Way You Used To Do” to YouTube. The video, released in August, was originally only available to view on Apple Music, but now it is open to the public, much to the happiness of fans.

The video features the band in a 50’s style getup as frontman Josh Homme dances and sings through a church with women with unconventionally long black hair and pentagrams. In a reference to all the dancing, Homme’s said in a press release “Dancing and headbanging are truly individualistic expressions of losing oneself fully in appreciation of music.” The upbeat groovy song fits like a glove to the music video, it’s like an early Christmas gift for Stone Age fans. See the video below.

“The Way You Used to Do” appears on the band’s new Mark Ronson-produced album Villains, which came out August 25 via Matador. The record also features their recent track “The Evil Has Landed.” Queens of the Stone Age will be touring in promotion of their album in 2018.

I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
