Bassnectar just announced his latest EP Reflective Part Two on Monday, and we are swooning over his new track “Other Worlds” with Dorfex Bos that dropped today. Suspenseful synths and hypnotic crooning open the song for the first two minutes or so as it climbs into an immersive pattern of sound. “Other Worlds” takes you into different universe of trance-like rhythm. Bassnectar says the new track “was inspired by a new collage from Sebastian Wahl , which we brought to life with the help of Black Lake Media. We finished the song in 24 hours flat, with various instruments and sounds mapped to various details and dimensions of the various worlds within the collage.” Listen to the first track off of the new EP below.
Reflective Part Two is a follow-up to his recent EP Reflective which was released in June. Bassnectar has also revealed the tracklist for the rest of the EP set to release on December 1st.
