Kaytranada and Doom Slated to Produce New Album by Bishop Nehru

According to Pitchfork, Markel Scott, better known by his stage name Bishop Nehru has announced new studio album Elevators: Act I & II. Nehru posted to his Instagram referencing the forthcoming album with the caption “coming soon.” Elevators: Act I & II will mark the rapper’s fourth studio album, produced by DOOM and Kaytranada.

At just 16 years old, Nehru released his debut mixtape, Nehruvia, a 13-song project that included production from DJ Premier, Madlib, MF DOOM and more. Magic 19 was the rapper’s most recent solo project, released last year. He and his former mentor DOOM came together under the name NehruvianDOOM to issue a self-titled collaborative studio album in 2014. Kaytranada’s debuted his most recent album 99.9% last year.
