Inara George Announces New Album Dearest Everybody for January 2018 Release and Shares Uplifting New Song “Young Adult”

Inara George has just announced her new solo album called Dearest Everybody. The album, set to release in January 2018 features her new single “Young Adult,” a tenderhearted accolade to growing up and expressing her young feelings about her father’s death 38 years ago. The opening line of the chorus asks; “Where is the line between all this joy and all this sorrow?” The chorus concludes with George trilling “I know that I want to see where this thing will go.” A very personal story is being told, and although each tragic experience like this is unique to each person, the song is still universally relatable. Inara, best known for her work with The Bird and the Bee (her collaboration with Grammy-winning producer, singer, and instrumentalist Greg Kurstin) and the Living Sisters, was recently featured on Foo Fighter’s “Dirty Water” and Superfruit’s “Everything,” which she co-wrote for their debut album Future Friends. The American singer-songwriter also has a song featured in the popular TV show Grey’s Anatomy. George has been bringing superb quality to the music world throughout her expansive career.

Dearest Everybody and “Young Adult” follow her last solo album Accidental Experiment in 2009, which collected over 730k Spotify streams.  Look for her new album out January 19th, 2018, and listen to “Young Adult” below.

I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
