Phoenix, Mac DeMarco, The Lemon Twigs @ The Hollywood Bowl 6/15

A truly magical night to remember is approaching the Los Angeles area.  The legendary Hollywood Bowl will be hosting a trio of acts that represent the trailblazers, the current hit and the future of what’s to come next in alternative rock music. Such an experience is an easy magnet for old, new and future fans alike not to mention the electric energy that reverberates throughout the venue.

Since 1999 Phoenix has been on the pursuit of greatness.  Starting out by pressing 500 copies of their first single to headlining the Governor’s Ball in NYC the first week of June of this year.  Six studio and two live albums have been released since the band’s inception, all welcomed with open arms and critical acclaim.  They’re latest album “Ti Amo” is also set to drop in June, presumably around the same time as they play the Governor’s Ball.  Mac DeMarco, the multi-talented artist, is currently enjoying his time and riding his wave with a sense of ease and welcoming.  His backing band providing the signature flat drum sound combined with smooth guitars and bass lines makes for an ocean of comfort for his voice to so seamlessly float across. His new album This Old Dog is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2017 and should be met with critical acclaim.  Now, The Lemon Twigs are the “new kids on the block” in regards to this trio of acts. The band was formed in 2015 by the brothers D’Addario (Brian and Michael) in Long Island, New York while they were in high school. They were later signed by British label 4D and released Do Hollywood which, as the previous artists, gained great critical acclaim. They have performed on shows such as the Tonight Show, CBS This Morning and  Conan.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to be apart of the time machine experience in music highlighting the greats in each of their respective eras.
