Phoenix Premiere New Songs “J-Boy,” “Ti Amo” and “Role Model” at First Live Set of 2017

Phoenix took the stage the other night at the Muziekcentrum Trix in Antwerp, Belgium for the first time in three years and debuted some new music. The French rock band debuted their recently teased track “J-Boy,” as well as “Ti Amo” and “Role Model.” Reported by Pitchfork to be from a setlist that was pulled from the performance that night. These performances are a clear indication that the rumoured new album from Phoenix is in the works. The band is currently planning on a tour that includes an appearance at the some major festivals including Govenors Ball and Glastonbury. They will kick things off in the Sunshine State in Miami at the Fillmore and the tour will run till September 30 in London, England at Alexandra Palace. There will be stops accross various parts of North America and Europe along the way to make up the rest of the tour. A couple different artists will be lending their talents along the way, that inlcudes Miike Snow, The Lemon Twigs and Whitney. A full list of these tour dates can be foud below.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate.
