Mutoid Man (featuring members of Cave In & All Pigs Must Die) have announced they will be releasing a new full-length album titled War Moans on June 2nd through Sargent House. The album will include a variety of guest performers, including guest vocals from Chelsea Wolfe and a guitar solo from former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman.
The Mutoid Man formation was originally described by the group as “an exercise in flexing the creative chops outside of the members’ other projects”, but since their debut EP Helium Head followed by the wild successful sophomore album Bleeder; Mutoid Man have confirmed they can rock whether it’s a side project or not.
To coincide with the release of War Moans, Mutoid Man has announced they would be touring this year with label mates Helms Alee as well opening the second of two Coheed & Cambria Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One shows at Terminal 5 in New York City.
