The Avalanches @ The Fonda Theatre 4/19

With music that will sweep you off your feet and bury you in delight, the Avalanches hold true to their name.  Formed in 1997, the electronic group from Melbourne has swept across the world leaving listeners frozen in time with their feel good vibes and groovy melodies.  Though they have seen quite a bit of band member turn over they have stayed in touch with their sound with a sense of joy emanating from each record. 

Though they group only has two official album releases the Avalanches debut record “Since I Left You” was met with both critical and commercial success, receiving multiple awards and is considered one of the best Australian albums of all time.  It wasn’t until 2016 that world saw their next album “Wildflower” which was also met with critical acclaim.

You can catch a ride on the Avalanches wild musical ride when the roll through Los Angeles on Wednesday April, 19 at the Fonda Theatre.  They will also be performing at Coachella this year.  Tickets are going fast so strap on your snow boots and prepare to boogie!
