Francis and the Lights @ The El Rey Theatre 4/12

To fully understand Francis and the Lights one must become Francis and the Lights and this is exactly how Francis wants it to be.  With no real “members” of the band, Francis explains “it’s me and whomever else is involved, including you.”  “And the Lights” is a reference to the lights on stage and the pixels on a computer screen, bringing the experience to a new level in terms of fan involvement and energy.

Since 2007 Francis Farewell Starlite has been setting the pop world a blaze with his slower-pulsed yet vibrant music, collaborating with acts such as Bon Iver, Chance the Rapper and Donnie Trumpet, just to name a few.   In 2008, Starlite formed Francis and the Lights LLC instead of signing a record deal with any other labels.  Normative Music Company gave him an investment of $100,000 with the thought that Francis would be able to bring Francis and the Lights to international stardom.  They were not wrong. Touring the world and leaving people in awe of his awesome performances and powerful music, Francis and the Lights grew in not the just pop genre but as a power house in music, landing him spots on the Hamilton soundtrack with Chance the Rapper and receiving gushing feedback from Kanye West and Drake (who he has both collaborated with.)

On Wednesday April, 12 2017 Francis and the Lights welcomes you to take part in his show and live the music at the El Rey Theatre.  There certainly will not be a lack of any energy, fun, high spirits and emotions.  Plan accordingly and prepare to live!
